About the Job
Seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for an 11-month-old infant with a tracheostomy and G-tube.
- The nurse will provide skilled nursing care in the home setting, including tracheostomy care, airway and respiratory monitoring, G-tube care and feeding, medication administration as ordered, vital sign monitoring, and assessment of the child’s overall condition.
- The nurse will maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment while closely monitoring for changes in the child’s respiratory or medical status.
- The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive, calm in emergency situations, and comfortable caring for medically complex infants.
Responsibilities also include following:
- The child’s individualized plan of care, documenting nursing interventions and observations, communicating with the family and healthcare team, and providing age-appropriate comfort and developmental support.
Pediatric, tracheostomy, G-tube, and home-health experience is preferred.
